Heads UP Education welcomes Shaun to its team, leading the Heads UP programme in Surrey.

With over 15 years of teaching experience in South Africa and England, Shaun’s work has taken him into a wide variety of teaching situations, from leading kaayacking expeditions in the South African bush to the school rugby and hockey pitches of Surrey.

As a father of young children, Shaun knows how important it is to give the very best of foundations for their development through childhood. When children learn to play naturally - outdoors, engaging with enthusiasm and imagination, they begin to establish some of the most critical of those foundations.

This is his particular area of expertise. As a Head of Games and Sport, Shaun understands that children learn something far deeper about life when actively involved in outdoor experiences.
