Talks & Workshops

Attitude Matters offers talks for parents (90-120 minutes) and workshops for professional educators.

  • Engagement Learning: Five Simple Steps To Helping Your Child & Your Family
  • The Negotiation Trap - Too much, too soon!
  • Sport, Screens & Shopping: A Sound Training For Young Adolescents?
  • A Modern Rite Of Passage? Managing The Process Towards Adolescence
  • Making Sense Of The Outdoors! Alien Territory? What To Do, When To Do It And Why?
  • Balancing Children’s Strengths, Two Sides Of The Coin: Confidence In A Social Context

Those who come to the talks and/or workshops will have different needs and the content will take this into account. The titles above are indications of the subject material and are not fixed, although each workshop will look at the important issues linking early childhood to the teenage years, focusing on the processes of engagement.

Workshops are generally given over one or two days depending on the depth of the course, however themes can be developed and presented as core contributions for larger conferences or given as stand-alone talks in a shorter, introductory format.
